Story Structure and Character Development Workshop

Breif :

This interactive workshop provides a solid foundation of story structure and character development: plot, concept, point of view, character, setting, style, symbolism, and dialogue. Participants will critically examine format, the importance of storytelling, developing a writing style, the process of shaping a plot, creating compelling characters. While the workshop’s primary focus is on critically constructing story, many of the dynamics explored and discussed will also resonate for those creating stories in other mediums. In this hands-on workshop, the participants will implement the dynamics discussed during the workshops. By the end of this workshop participants will have a clear idea of plot, character, point of view, setting, symbolism, style, and theme and how these elements function in an interrelated way to organize a single composition, a unity of parts, a system wherein the artifacts finds its life, its utility, and its beauty.
